We have been developing Spanish-language materials for educational publishers for over 20 years. Our expertise and talent makes us an ideal partner to those publishers wanting to get in the Spanish publishing market.
We can advise you what to do, what to translate, and we can translate and develop anything you need.
Most publishers entering the California, Florida, and Texas markets have to have their Spanish materials “adopted” just like they have to have their English materials adopted by the state departments of education. For major subject areas, during the adoption review week, publishers need to have representatives on-site at the adoption to enact any changes required by the reviewers.
Most changes have to do with standard interpretation and clarifications that the reviewers request. In order to have your materials adopted by the end of the review week, changes need to be implemented to the submitted materials so that they can be approved. When this happens, the Spanish needs to be updated with the changes of the English.
Sometimes, it is the Spanish reviewers that request a change to the Spanish and this creates the need to revise the English. For this reason, it is important to have a Spanish editorial team on-site who can make these changes. Strictly Spanish can be your Spanish editorial department and help with this process. If you have a small Spanish department, sometimes it doesn’t make sense to send them to the review boards, so we can step in and help, too.
Contact us to discuss how Strictly Spanish can support you on adoptions in particular and with all your Spanish translation of educational materials needs.
