When Strictly Spanish Translations (SST) started more than 25 years ago, we had many ideas, a lot of positive energy, and a variety of questions related to the direction the company should take. Most translation companies choose to work in every available language. Because we are linguists with fluency in various languages, we have always been concerned with quality and have wondered how quality could be properly controlled when working on so many languages.
From day one, our philosophy has always been that a company shouldn't try to be everything to everybody; it should focus on and specialize in one area. SST specializes in English ⇄ Spanish translations, believing that focus coupled with our association with high-quality professionals in every field is the only way to excel. In contrast, other translation companies when working with several languages will often have to settle for less than highly-qualified professionals, and their translation quality will suffer.
The translation services of SST have never been directly advertised. We have grown by word-of-mouth. Our clients had found us through other clients. So, indirectly, we have been advertising all along with the best type of advertising there is —by providing the best quality to our clients, who are our greatest advocates.
